Welcome to
Cotswold Talking Therapy
A safe space to unpack what is troubling you.
Counselling is Time dedicated solely to you.
Time to tap into your thoughts and emotions, to help make sense of your experiences, and in turn, help you move forward.
Sometimes life can be a struggle. Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed, dealing with anxiety or depression. Maybe you have lost a loved one, lost your job, or simply feeling lost. Whatever is going on for you right now, counselling could be key in finding your way back to you.
I am a qualified and registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I warmly welcome you to my practice. I am an integrative person-centred counsellor. This means at the heart of my approach is the belief that given the right conditions, you can find the answers within yourself to evoke change. I draw upon a range of approaches and techniques in order to tailor the experience to you.
What to Expect
I work in a client led way, meaning that the sessions are yours to explore what feels important to you. I will not set any sort of agenda or direct you, but I will support you as you unpack the weight that is on your shoulders. When you share your life experiences with me, I will listen without judgement. Through exploring your situation and your emotional responses, we will build a therapeutic relationship that you can lean into and trust. I will offer you therapeutic interventions, my observations and together we will work towards increasing your connection to yourself.

This offers you an informal chat and a good opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have before committing to sessions. Finding the right counsellor is imperative to the process. The consultation is there to help in deciding if I am a good fit for you.
The first session will involve understanding what is bringing you to therapy. I will ask you some questions to gage the best way to support you and ensure that you feel comfortable. If this is the first time you are accessing counselling, it may feel a bit daunting, and I will do all that I can to put you at ease.
